As a Technical Product Manager for AI Agents, you will be at the forefront of driving innovation in the development of domain-specific AI agents using IBM Watsonx Orchestrate. This role requires a unique blend of technical expertise, business acumen, and leadership skills to navigate the complex landscape of AI development, research and deployment.
Product Ownership and Growth:
· Develop and own the vision and strategy for specific domains such as HR, Sales Operations and Finance and business functions within, ensuring alignment with product capabilities, market and customer needs.
· Stay current on industry trends and technology developments in AI, Agents and Automations, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to inform product roadmaps and maintain a competitive advantage.
Innovative Development:
· Develop and articulate a deep understanding of the target domain, including key pain points, opportunities for automation to inform the development of AI agents that provide significant value to our customers.
· Define clear and concise user stories, in-product experiments and prioritize product features and requirements, based on feedback from customers and in-market experimentation.
· Drive squads to evaluate and understand the trade-offs between technology feasibility and business needs. Influence decision making for solid foundations in the product.
· Closely monitor feedback and performance of features identifying areas for improvement and driving continuous optimization.
Strategic Leadership:
· Lead product’s strategy by aligning multiple stakeholders, delivering valuable outcomes, and realizing the intended impact through excellent communication and collaboration skills.
· Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, including customers, sales, and development teams, to ensure that domain-based AI solutions are aligned with their needs and expectations.
Agile Team Facilitation:
· Conduct business discovery and solution workshops with key stakeholders such as business process user personas, functional domain SMEs and technical experts to define requirements.
· Collaborate with engineering and design teams to lead three-in-a box discussions to discover value, determine feasibility and plan feature execution.
· Oversee the development and deployment of AI agents, ensuring that they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the required quality standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years in product management, software development, or AI development, with a focus on building and deploying for specific domains such as HR, Sales or Finance.
- Deep understanding of structured and unstructured data and integration across API, 3rd party systems, and data stores.
- Experience in transforming (via AI and automation) key business process workflows to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention in domains such as HR, Procurement, Sales or Finance.
- Self-motivated, with a passion for delivering exceptional products that exceed customer expectations.
- Experience in the applying technology to transform and digitize HR processes.
- Hands-on experience building and working in one or more HR technology systems including applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and benefits administration platforms such as Workday, SAP, Oracle HCM, ADP etc.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and solutions to enhance the HR functions such as employee self-serve, talent acquisition, learning and development, payroll and others.
- Master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with IBM Watsonx or other AI development platforms, artificial intelligence, machine learning and natural language processing.
