We are seeking an IBM Z and LinuxONE Ecosystem Technical Enablement Specialist to drive the growth and success of our ISV partner ecosystem. In this pivotal role, you will recruit and nurture strategic partnerships, align partner goals with IBM Z and LinuxONE objectives, and develop impactful go-to-market strategies. - Recruit, and onboard new ISV ecosystem partners to expand the IBM Z and LinuxONE ecosystem.
- Develop and execute ISV partner strategy to drive mutual success and revenue growth.
- Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with ISV partners, acting as their main point of contact.
- Develop compelling value propositions and business cases showcasing mutual benefits for IBM and ISV partners.
- Analyze industry trends, market shifts, competitor activities, and client needs to identify and optimize ISV partner opportunities for IBM Z and/or LinuxONE
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align ISV partner goals with the IBM Z and LinuxONE strategic objectives.
- Design and implement sales/route enablement programs to ensure ISV partners, IBM sales and Consulting, Solution Integrators, and other routes are equipped to promote and sell ISV solutions on IBM Z and LinuxONE.
- Drive partnership performance, ongoing currency, and adoption of new IBM Z and LinuxONE technology to maximize outcomes for clients, ISVs, and IBM.
- Negotiate partnership agreements, ensuring beneficial terms for all parties.
- Define and lead joint go-to-market strategies with ISV ecosystem partners, including IBM Z and LinuxONE launch participation, industry and client events and conferences, and ISV advocacy
- Experience in business development, sales or technical sales, ecosystem partner management, product management, or other client facing roles
- Solid technical understanding and knowledge base of IBM Z and/or LinuxONE platforms.
- Experience in Data Serving, Security, Core Banking and/or Payments
- Strong presentation skills, with experience interfacing with clients and key stakeholders.
- Knowledge and application of Agile practices
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
- Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans and achieve performance targets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or a related field.
- Experience recruiting and managing technology partners or software vendors.
- Understanding of channel sales models and partner enablement best practices.
