Introduction

The IJDS IT Skills Acquisition Program is a three-month program for those who have a disability certificate and aim to find employment in the IT industry*, and allows them to acquire IT skills and experience how to work in the IT industry.
This includes those who are on leave or aiming for a new career.

In this program, those who aim to find employment in the IT industry will learn basic IT-related skills and programming skills through e-learning and lectures in the form of web meetings, as well as learn about facing themselves and working in an organization.
In the IT industry, activities are often carried out by forming a team called a project team. For this reason, there are situations where it is necessary to understand the characteristics of your own disability and gain the understanding of the necessary members, and there are situations where it is necessary to achieve mutual understanding through discussions and exchanges of opinions with the members who work together in the team. In addition, when providing IT services to customers, there are situations where we visit customers or conduct interviews with customers.
The goal of this program is to have students experience learning in the IT industry as an IT technician, imagine what they will be like when they get a job in the IT industry in the future, and further reduce the gap between their imagination and reality.

In principle, the program itself is held remotely, so you can participate regardless of your area of residence.

In addition to the IT skills you are currently learning, please consider participating in this program so that you can experience "working in the IT industry" and move forward toward finding a job in the IT industry.
