The IBMer Growth and Development organization has a mission to enable and empower IBMers to have fulfilling career journeys, where they can grow their career and have a clear understanding of the opportunities for achievement and advancement. As the Secondment Specialist, you will be responsible for working with country-based teams to manage secondment programs in several countries (including Germany, Italy, and Japan). You’ll leverage process-mapping and process-engineering skills to document each country’s unique process, identifying opportunities for elimination, simplification, or automation. Partnering cross-functionally, you’ll manage these programs and ensure delivery excellence and policy compliance. We want – and need! – you to innovate in this space to ensure these programs continue to support their core outcomes of employee mobility and business growth.
Secondment volumes will vary throughout the year, and as a member of the broader IBM Careers team, you’ll also help to drive various career programs and initiatives that support our larger career strategy. This could include working on offerings such as career paths, business-driven mobility, career conversations, or promotions.
