This Domain Product Manager role focuses on the strategic development and launch of Sales-specific AI Agents.
You will be responsible for business discovery, strategy definition, use case prioritization, and phased execution.
You will partner with other areas of the organization, across internal IBM Client teams, IBM Consulting, and existing customers to define domain and use case strategy.
You will then execute by working closely with the development organization and, lastly, driving adoption through existing and new routes to market.
Primary Duties/Responsibilities
- Deeply analyze market trends, customer pain points, and competitor landscape to develop domain-specific strategy with a strong focus on both technology and buyer fit;
- Identify and define key use cases working with IBM Consulting, IBM internal teams, and customers within the domain that lend itself to a domain-specific AI Agent strategy;
- Manage end-to-end launch and scale programs for new domain AI agents being developed;
- Work with marketing, sales, and other cross-functional teams to drive the adoption of new domain AI Agents at scale.
- Actively engage with potential customers through demos, presentations, and other outreach methods to generate interest and leads.
- Stay informed of the domain technology roadmap/trends and provide inputs into IBM’s domain AI Agent strategy.
- Experience working with one or more Sales technology systems including Salesforce CRM, Sales Force Automation (SFA) tools, lead generation software, prospecting tools, sales analytics platforms, email automation, sales dialers, content management systems, etc.
- Stay current on industry trends and emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending new tools and solutions to enhance Sales functions with a focus on AI and automation
- Hands-on experience building and working in one or more CRM technology systems including sales insight and enablement tools is a plus.
- Prioritizes and manages multiple initiatives, responding timely to the most urgent needs
- Comfortable with client-facing conversations and able to prioritize requirements.
- Exchanges information with appropriate teams to complete work follows through on tasks and commitments, and keeps information confidential, as warranted.
- A minimum of 5 years of product management experience, with at least 3 years building products for Procurement
- Demonstrates knowledge about AI and automation technology and participates in training and development initiatives to keep abreast of current trends.
- Showcases ability to influence work efforts of others, manage own time and team’s time and workload.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional projects
- Demonstrates ability to adapt to change as directed
