あなたの役割と責任

最先端の量子コンピュータのハードウェア、ソフトウェアを研究開発する先鋭部隊に加わり、お客様が直面するビジネス課題に対して、お客様が量子コンピュータ利用を探求するのを支えていきます。IBM Quantumのお客様のリストを充実させていくため、顧客対応やサポート経験のある、優秀で、革新的なソフトウェアエンジニアであることが求められます。そして、開発チーム、インフラチームと密に連携し、高い可用性、最適なシステム性能、効率的な問題解決に貢献していくことになります。 この役割は、個々のサポート事例をもとに製品開発の助けとなることや、特定のお客様に直接サポートすることまで、サポートに関するすべての業務が含まれることになります。

  • IBM Quantumのお客様からの、技術的な質問に対し応答することが求められます。あなたは、ユーザフィードバックや、あなたの経験をもとに、IBM Quantum製品をサポートし、ソリューションの改善の提案することになります。
  • お客様が抱える問題の根本的な原因を調査し、Site Reliability Engineering Teamと協業することが求められます(例:お客様の問題が、我々のソフトウェアやハードウェア上の問題であるか検証し、内部のチームに注意を喚起する)。
  •  開発チームと密接に協業し、量子コンピュータのソフトウェアスタックの発展や、サポートと開発の一貫した目的達成を実現することが求められます。
  • ZendeskやPagerDutyや同様のツールを利用して、システムアラートに対応し、迅速な問題解決をることが求められます。
  • お客様とIBMの研究者のために、お客様と会話したり、量子ハードウェアへのアクセスを管理したりするような、事務的な処理を行うことがあります。

Your Role and Responsibilities:

Join an elite team driving research and development of the industry’s most advanced quantum computing hardware and software and helping our clients explore use of quantum computing for their most pressing business challenges. IBM is seeking a talented, innovative Software Engineer with client and support experience to enable the growing IBM Quantum client member list. Working closely with our development and infrastructure team, you will contribute to the high availability, optimal performance, and efficient problem resolution of our technology. This role will cover the entire support cycle from helping to develop products to scale with this unique client base to assisting issues directly with the client. 

 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • You must be able and willing to expand your knowledge through self-directed learning and be skilled in independent thinking and problem solving.
  • This position will require to answer technical questions from IBM Quantum clients. You will support IBM Quantum products and propose improvements or solutions based on user feedback and your experience.
  • You will be required to investigate the root cause of a client problem and collaborate with our Site Reliability Engineering team (i.e. assess if the client issue reveals a problem on our software or hardware stack and alert the internal team)
  • You will be required to collaborate closely with the development teams to contribute to the advancement of the Quantum software stack, ensuring seamless integration between support and development efforts.
  • You will be required to respond to system alerts using Zendesk, PagerDuty or similar tools to ensure swift issue resolution.
  • You might also expect doing operational tasks such as helping client communication or managing the access to quantum hardware for clients and IBM researchers.
  • This job also entails working successfully with a diverse and dynamic team of both operational and technical personnel, collaborate with team members as well as work independently, and take initiative.You will be part of an advanced frontline team that aims to support key global clients of IBM Quantum on a 24/7 basis.  The global role may require you to be available for work outside of regular hours (on-call duty).

Required technical and professional expertise
  • 3年以上のソフトウェアサポートの経験

  • Qiskitを利用した量子プログラミング言語の経験
  • REST APIの成熟した経験
  • モニタリングツール、ロギングツール、トレースツールの経験(GrafanaやLogDNAなど)
  • クラウドプラットフォームの利用経験(IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS)
  • Git、Pull Requestの一般的なワークフローの熟知
  • 外部のお客様への直接のサポート経験
  • 流暢な英語と日本語によるコミュニケーション

 

  • 3+ years Software support experience
  • Programming experience in Python is mandatory.
  • Prior experience in quantum programming languages (Qiskit)
  • Solid experience with REST APIs
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and tracing tools such as Grafana or LogDNA.
  • Experience with any of the Cloud platforms e.g. IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS
  • Proficient with Git and the general pull request workflow.
  • External client facing support experience.
  • Fluency in English
Preferred technical and professional experience

  • Experience in a quantum computing environment.
  • Knowledge of distributed systems and backend systems architecture.
  • Experience in Go (Golang), JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, and Rust
  • Good communication skill
  • Comfortable leading technical client meeting
