This job performs ongoing cybersecurity risk reviews for new and existing technologies and services and supports ongoing and new cybersecurity projects. Individuals develop requirements for and implement technical security projects and tools, as well as define the company’s cybersecurity policies and control framework. This position collaborates with the company’s IT department and business units to identify the need for, select, and deploy technical controls to meet specific security requirements.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Security Consultant, you play a pivotal role as a key advisor for IBM's clients. Your primary responsibility is to analyze business requirements and leverage your expertise to design and implement optimal security solutions tailored to meet the unique needs of our clients. Your technical skills will be crucial in finding the delicate balance between enabling and securing our client's organization, utilizing cognitive solutions that have contributed to making IBM the fastest-growing enterprise security business globally.
- Conduct in-depth cybersecurity risk assessments for third-party vendors and partners to identify potential threats to the organization.
 - Recommend effective risk mitigation strategies for identified third-party risks.
 - Collaborate with Data Science, Enterprise Architecture, and Cybersecurity Architecture teams to address risks related to third-party engagements.
 - Perform ongoing cybersecurity vendor risk assessments for new and existing technologies.
 - Requirements: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, plus 4+ years in cybersecurity with strong expertise in Third-Party Risk Management.
 
- Certified Third Party Risk Assessor (CTPRA)
 - Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA)
