As a Benefits Professional, you will be responsible for all operational and delivery aspects and overall integrity of IBM’s global benefits & absence programs, including managing the operational aspects of our employee benefits data and vendor relationships also with regards to quality and service delivery. You will work closely together with other Benefit Professionals as well as with other IBM functions on matters involving legal compliance, employee relations, employee communications and financial reporting related to the benefits programs.
• You will support the implementation and execution of Benefits programs and Benefit design changes
• You will manage employee data in various HR systems, ensuring data consistency
• You will support the resolution of employee queries, routine and exceptional cases
• You will ensure overall compliance by following external/internal guidelines and process documentation
• You will also have the opportunity to brainstorm on process simplification, automation and elimination possibilities
• Fluent in English both verbal and written
• Excel and analytical skills using Microsoft Excel for data processing and analysis
• Excellent and effective communication skills with creative problem solving and customer focused mindset
• Ability to work independently but in a team as well
• Must be precise, accurate and work to tight deadlines, cope with peak workloads
