- Responsible for overseeing the end-to-end tool enablement for New Product Introductions. This will include conducting Announcement Readiness reviews with the key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the EACM, RFA writers, Pricing, and Product Managers teams to ensure the necessary checkpoints are completed for product and feature configurations. This should be done in accordance with the announcement and general availability (GA) plans. The checkpoints will include the EACM template, database (DB), WWPRT, Autogen local tool, and other systems or processes.
- Serve as the gatekeeper to work with the Product Manager and other key stakeholders for timely and quality updates on the Project Announcement.
- Address issues in downstream systems arising from new announcements.
- Organize project paperwork, maintain records, and plan and prioritize duties for optimal performance
- Able to provide executive updates on progress, as needed.
The role of the new Storage Planner involves a comprehensive understanding of skills and competencies necessary for effective project execution. This includes experience with the RFA/Project Announcement process and tools, which are critical for ensuring the successful implementation of Project Announcements. The Storage Planner will oversee the end-to-end process by managing key activities and control points to announce and release storage offerings.
The role requires four years of proven experience in conducting hardware, software, and service-related storage announcements, as well as strong Project Management skills. This includes familiarity with systems such as Oasis, eConfig, ePricer, WWPRT, Docs, EACM, Jira, and Adobe. A high-level understanding of the product lifecycle process and calendar is a plus.
