A Sales Representative (Digital) role (what we internally call a ‘Digital Sales Specialist’) within IBM’s Data & AI brand means helping to accelerate enterprises’ success by improving their ability to understand their data. As a Digital Sales Specialist in Data & AI, you will be at the forefront of IBM’s digital sales initiatives, leveraging your technical and sales skills to drive the strategic growth of IBM’s AI and data offerings.Your primary role will involve identifying potential clients, understanding their business needs, and presenting tailored IBM solutions that leverage AI and data analytics to drive efficiencies, innovation, and profitability.You will help to provide solutions that enable people across organizations, in multiple roles, the ability to turn data into actionable insights without having to wait for IT. - Forecasting and Deal Closures: Predicting deal closures and effectively communicating forecasts.
- Responsible for managing IBM partner relationships, ensuring mutual growth and business objectives alignment.
- Opportunity Identification: Assisting your team in identifying up/cross-sell opportunities within your territory.
- Collaborative Campaigns: Collaborating with IBM Marketing and Sales to develop new business campaigns.
- Use-Case Development: Creating use-cases and proofs of concept in response to client RFIs.
- Value Proposition Presentation: Compellingly presenting high-level value propositions.
- Effective Communication skills in both writing and speaking.
- Analytical Skills with a focus on using data for decision-making and achieving positive business outcomes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related field.
- Data & AI knowledge: Artificial Intelligence (GenAI & ML), Agents & Assistants, Business Analytics, Business Automation (RPA, BPM,etc.), Databases, etc.
- Team player with a collaborative spirit, able to work across multiple functions and levels within IBM and partners.
- Fluency in English and Spanish, with additional language skills desirable but not required.
- Position located in Valencia
- Availability to travel in order to meet with clients
