- Responsible Trade Compliance processes such as customs classification, compliance testing and validation, record retention, reporting, maintenance of Shipping Instructions.
- Collaborates with US Customs as well as other external regulatory bodies.
- You will interlock with CHQ functions such as Import Regulations Office, Business controls, Corporate Tax, Corporate Audit, Export Regulations Office, Supply Chain, and Procurement
- Maintenance of Internal Control Program, Audit Programs, Corporate Instructions
- You will support Procurement with Logistics Supplier service contracting (definition of statement of work, supplier interviews, supplier selection)
- Work with regional control towers to achieve commonality and harmonization of tools and process, as far as local rules allow
- You will ensure that IBM imports and exports are executed in compliance with local country and US regulations.
- Ability to understand and handle complex, multi-country, regulatory requirements and associated risks.
- Office Based - Min 3 days per week.
- Strong negotiation skills and endurance towards Suppliers and internal clients
- Expert knowledge of supply chain and logistics processes
