The Technical Solutions Project Manager will lead projects involving developers and technical solution architects designing and implementing first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions across complex pre- and post-sales opportunities, including client-critical situations and onboarding acceleration. This role requires facilitating unique client co-creation experiences to accelerate enterprise transformation programs. You will act as the point of contact for client-facing engagements and ensure the delivery of integrated solutions that provide business value while meeting security and reliability standards. Responsible for the driving the execution of the IBM Cloud onboarding plan for ISVs and partners. Ensure the program tools, resources, ISVs, bank, etc., are aligned and all parties are maintaining commitments and follow-on actions.
Proven experience as a PM leader managing solution architect teams, with a focus on leading high-performing teams.
Basic technical understanding and hands-on experience with IBM Cloud or another major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Basic understanding of a wide range of hybrid cloud technologies, including Kubernetes, Docker, Containers, Cyber Security, Red Hat OpenShift, and IBM Cloud Paks.
Ability to execute and collaborate in a high matrixed organization and global role.
Ability to apply critical thinking, analytic and problem-solving skills.
Experience in customer-facing interactions with architecture and technical teams in an international environment.
Agile project management skills, familiar with methodologies like extreme programming, paired programming, scrum, and test-driven development.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of delivering compelling presentations and building trust with stakeholders from coders to the C-suite.
Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
Basic experience in diverse technical domains, including application modernization, business automation, Site Reliability Engineering, AIOps, Edge Computing, integration technologies, and data engineering technologies.
External relationship management experience.
