- Design new features and extend OpenTelemetry support with a dynamic architecture.
- Maintain OpenTelemetry-related code across Instana’s agent, backend, and frontend.
- Debug and resolve customer-reported issues involving OpenTelemetry.
- Improve the observability platform, Instana, as a member of the Instana OpenTelemetry team.
- Process millions of spans, traces, metrics, and events per second to deliver actionable insights to customers.
- Focus on generating, collecting, processing, exporting, visualizing, and analyzing telemetry data using OpenTelemetry.
- Collaborate on cross-team OpenTelemetry initiatives.
- Improve documentation for seamless customer adoption.
- Contribute to the OpenTelemetry open-source community.
- Enhance developer tools and pipelines.
- Demonstrate strong coding discipline and problem-solving skills.
