Uvod

The CIO I&T Operations team is seeking a Software Developer with strong scripting skills to enhance and optimize our platform. Our team is responsible for IT Operations Management, in partnership with other critical processes within the CIO TPT organization (such as IT Service Management, Application Portfolio Management, Security and Operations and many more), leveraging ServiceNow and other tools to support our operations.

You will be part of an Agile/DevOps team focused on continuous improvement and innovation. The ideal candidate will have experience in customization, administration, configuration, and integration development within ServiceNow. Our team is multidisciplinary in technology, using ServiceNow as a key component while integrating IBM products and other solutions into our ecosystem.

As a Software Engineer, you will harness the power of the latest tools and technologies to craft cutting-edge software solutions for I&T Operations under the CIO organization.

Your responsibilities encompass the entire software development lifecycle, ensuring that components are meticulously designed, rigorously tested, debugged, verified, and poised for seamless integration into IBM's world-class hierarchical database solutions.

Strong understanding of JavaScript, Node.js, HTML, CSS, and SQL.

Proficiency in ServiceNow development and system administration, including: Table hierarchy, Business Rules, Client and Server Scripts, UI Pages, REST API, ACLs, Form Designer and Flow Designer.

Experience with GitHub and DevOps tools.

Advanced-level English proficiency.

Experience working in an Agile environment.

 

Zaželeno strokovno in tehnično znanje

ServiceNow ITOM skillset, including: CMDB (multi-source CMDB, IRE management, CSDM LifeCycle and CMDB Heatlh), Discovery (creation and maintenance of discovery patterns, schedules, credentials), Event Management (entire flow from Events to Alerts to Incidents, integration with monitoring tools, management of Event and Alert Rules), Service Mapping (understanding overall concept and tag-based Service Mapping).

Knowledge of ServiceNow MID Servers and direct/scripted web services.

ServiceNow certifications are a plus.

Experience in writing and executing Unit and Integration Tests as part of Test-Driven DevOps Development.

Awareness of User Experience (UX) design principles.
