Data Entry: Entering financial transactions accurately into the general ledger system.
Assisting with Journal Entries: Aiding in creating basic journal entries for routine transactions like accruals and prepaid expenses.
Record Keeping: Maintaining organized documentation of journal entries and related records for audits.
Supporting Reconciliation: Helping senior staff reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in journal entries.
Learning and Development: Actively acquiring accounting knowledge and mastering accounting software.
Communication: Reporting journal entry activities to supervisors as necessary.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Some relevant internship or entry-level accounting experience preferred.
Basic understanding of accounting principles and concepts.
Ability in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software.
Eagerness to learn and grow in the accounting field.
