- Distributed Tracing based on OpenTelemetry

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

Sua Função e suas Responsabilidades


  • In-depth knowledge and expertise in OpenTelemetry data collection, analysis, and implementation (Metrics, Events, Logs and Traces)
  • Experience working in Grafana - creating and customizing dashboards, integrating Grafana with different tools, and troubleshooting issues related to Grafana implementations.

  • Distributed tracing experience is needed
  • OpenTelemetry knowledge is essential. Also on the level of how collectors working and
  • Understand how the Grafana stack is working (Tempo etc.)
  • ClickHouse should be the new data backend for all analytics processes
  • Knowledge of the go-lang should be available in order to implement collectors yourself if necessary.
  • Know how to use the stack efficiently without having to rely on cloud-native services.
  • Familiarity with automating infrastructure deployment using GitOps tools like ArgoCD or GITHUB
