In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As a Software Developer you'll participate in many aspects of the software development lifecycle, such as design, code implementation, testing, and support. You will create software that enables your clients' hybrid-cloud and AI journeys.
Your primary responsibilities include:
- Designs, develops and supports Enterprise Asset Management (EAM) application solutions using the Hitachi Asset Suite 9 application and related frameworks and technologies.
- This specialty may design, develop and/or re-engineer application components, and integrate software packages, programs, and reusable objects residing on multiple platforms.
- This specialty would be responsible for design, development, testing and support of reports, interfaces, data conversions and enhancements using Hitachi Asset Suite 9 and related tools
- Proven experience in developing Groovy scripts/extensions.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and experience with tools such as Jenkins, Git, etc.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Kanban, and proficiency in using Jira.
- Solid knowledge of Asset Suite version 9 or relevant asset management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in a dynamic, collaborative environment.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with remote teams.
- Experience in the energy or utilities sector.
- Knowledge of other programming languages and frameworks is a plus.
