As an Application Architect - SAP HANA Development, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining complex SAP HANA applications. You will work closely with clients and functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. With your extensive experience, you will guide other team members in the end-to-end delivery of objects assigned to them.
- SAP HANA Development: Lead the end-to-end development of SAP HANA applications, including creation and modification of CDS views, developing Adobe Forms from scratch, and proficient usage of OO ABAP.
- Problem Solving & Analysis: Demonstrate strong analytical skills by analyzing ABAP dumps to identify root causes and evaluating technical feasibility of requirements. Independently research and select appropriate SAP artifacts during the development phase.
- Design and Discussion: Engage in design discussions with clients and functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
- Delivery Management & Guidance: Manage the end-to-end delivery of objects assigned, guiding other team members in their tasks. Ensure high-quality deliverables through effective use of SAP code-quality tools.
- Innovation & Improvement: Continuously seek ways to improve application performance, security, and user experience.
- Code & Documentation Review: Conduct thorough code and documentation reviews to maintain high standards.
- Adaptability: Demonstrate the ability to quickly pick up skills in new areas, such as SAP TM and SAP EWM.
- SAP HANA Development: Minimum of 5 years of SAP experience, including at least 3 years specifically in HANA. Lead end-to-end development of SAP HANA applications, including creating and modifying CDS views, developing Adobe Forms from scratch, and utilizing OO ABAP effectively.
- Analytical Skills: Demonstrate strong analytical skills by analyzing ABAP dumps to identify root causes and evaluating technical feasibility of requirements. Independently research and select appropriate SAP artifacts during the development phase.
- Design and Discussion: Engage in design discussions with clients and functional teams to ensure technical solutions align with business needs.
- Quality Assurance: Utilize SAP code-quality tools such as SLIN, Code-Inspector, and ATC to ensure deliverables are error-free. Understand and apply concepts such as BADI, Enhancement Spots, multiple-use BADIs, and proxy interfaces.
- Innovation & Delivery: Manage end-to-end delivery of objects assigned, requiring minimal external guidance.
- Proficiency: Proficient in ABAP editor on Eclipse (ADT), with a strong understanding of OO ABAP, including public/protected/private methods, attributes, class instantiation, and when to use each type of method. Experience with Interfaces and Singleton classes.
- Experience in financial and SCM processes
- Ability to travel regularly to different locations, including CEE countries and Amsterdam, for workshops, UAT, and go-live events
- Good communication skills in English
- Knowledge of RAP objects
- Ability to effectively use SAP code-quality tools
