The IBM CIO Technology Platform Transformation team plays a crucial role in modernizing and optimizing IBM's technology infrastructure and platforms. The team aims to power AI-enabled experiences through AI-first technology platforms that enable and streamline existing processes, enhance security, and improve user experience by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
Driving the adoption of emerging technologies to optimize and automate various business functions, keeping an AI-first approach with a Digital Experience.
Enable Best in Class IT with Enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.
Modernizing legacy systems and integrating disparate applications to improve interoperability and reduce technical debt.
Collaborating with other departments and teams to align technology efforts with broader corporate objectives.
Providing guidance and expertise on technology trends, best practices, and standards.

- Lead, design and implement network and security solutions to support global business operations.
- Configure and maintain routing ensuring high availability, security, and performance.
- Provide Last Level of Support to troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues, providing advanced support for network-related incidents.
- Lead and participate in network transformations, driving improvements in performance, scalability, and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new technologies and optimize existing infrastructure.
- Work with multi-vendor hardware network platforms (including white box), leveraging open-source solutions where applicable.
- Automate network tasks using scripting and controllers to enhance operational efficiency.
- Customer-focused approach, with the ability to understand user problems and deliver solutions that enhance End user experience and application performance.
- Operate with a "One Team" mindset, fostering collaboration and alignment across all teams and stakeholders.
- Ability to support a global network footprint, with availability to address critical issues outside of standard business hours when necessary
- · Proven Enterprise experience with networking technologies including SDWAN, Firewalls, Routing and Switching.
- · Proven strong understanding and experience in BGP routing protocols in a complex, multi-tenant enterprise.
- Experience in driving technology transformations, with a focus on network performance, security, and scalability.
- Experience in scripting languages, software defined network automation, SDN controllers for network automation tasks.
- Proven Experience in creation and delivery of High-Level Design and Low-Level Design solutions.
- Experience in making standardized template driven configurations.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with global teams and stakeholders.
- Testing and assessment of tech. designs and solutions in remote lab environment, and verification for enterprise deployment.
- Certifications from vendors such as Cisco, Juniper or Palo Alto are highly preferred.
- Experience with open hardware network platforms is a plus.
- Occasional on-call coverage during Weekends to support internal Teams in case of high severity incidents.
- Flexible working hours based on Business Demand (Global Team Meetings, Change Implementation outside of business hours)
