In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Lead and execute tasks related to cleaning up repositories, removing unnecessary code, and managing technical debt.
- Implement improvements to enhance the performance of existing systems running on AWS.
- Optimize the parallelization of ML models during runtime for efficient resource utilization and faster execution.
- Design, deploy, and manage scalable solutions on AWS, leveraging services like EC2, S3, and Lambda where appropriate.
- (Optional) Collaborate with data science teams to integrate OpenSearch for advanced data querying and analysis.
- Ensure all solutions adhere to best practices, security standards, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Python programming, with a strong background in software development.
- Extensive experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS), particularly in cloud architecture and deployment.
- Proven ability to manage and optimize databases on AWS for high performance and scalability.
- Expertise in code refactoring and technical debt management, ensuring repository cleanliness and maintainability.
- Familiarity with parallel computing concepts to efficiently scale Machine Learning (ML) model executions.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and agile methodologies preferred.
Preferred: Proficient knowledge of AWS OpenSearch for effective data indexing and analysis.
