As an Editor/Writer you will join a team of in-house journalists and editors responsible for producing high-quality content about not just IBM but the tech sector at large, with a particular emphasis on artificial intelligence (AI).
This team sits on a broader team of writers who also create SEO-driven content. The pace of this work fluctuates so we are looking for someone who is as comfortable editing as they are writing and embraces this kind of task-switching in a fast-paced environment.
You will work on a variety of content types including news stories, analyses, features and email newsletter copy, ensuring clarity, accuracy and alignment with IBM Think’s voice and editorial standards. This role requires a sharp editorial eye to refine content for tone, flow and impact, as well as exceptional skills in crafting compelling stories and headlines that resonate with target audiences.
The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of tone of voice, the ability to maintain consistency across multiple content types and experience writing and editing content for digital platforms. This position requires collaboration with writers, strategists, and other editors to deliver high-quality, engaging content that meets both audience and business goals.
IBM Think is IBM’s omnichannel media and events hub, bringing together content that generates awareness, engagement, impact and new digital relationships with visitors and clients. We’ll do this by producing exclusive, high-quality content—explainers, feature articles, thought leadership, industry news and analysis, podcasts, newsletters, tutorials, demos and more—that help visitors make sense of new technologies and new ways or working, and connect them to ways IBM can help.
