IBM Consulting is seeking a dynamic Business Development Leader to accelerate the growth of our AMER Salesforce practice across all markets. This strategic role will focus on expanding our Salesforce business footprint, strengthening our partnership with Salesforce, and showcasing IBM's differentiated assets and accelerators throughout the Americas region. The ideal candidate will drive revenue growth, market eminence, and thought leadership while positioning IBM Consulting as the premier Salesforce implementation partner in the market.
* **Strategic Business Development:** Create and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand IBM's Salesforce practice across all industry markets in the Americas region
* **Pipeline Generation:** Develop and nurture a robust pipeline of opportunities across the full Salesforce product portfolio (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Revenue Cloud, Marketing Cloud, Commerce Cloud, AgentForce, Data Cloud, etc.)
* **Partnership Excellence:** Strengthen IBM's strategic alliance with Salesforce at both regional and local levels, ensuring alignment on joint go-to-market strategies and collaborative opportunity pursuit
* **Cross-Market Collaboration:** Work closely with IBM industry and market teams to identify and pursue Salesforce opportunities across diverse client segments
* **Solution Development:** Partner with offering leaders to craft compelling, industry-specific Salesforce solutions leveraging IBM's unique assets, accelerators, and technology integration capabilities
* **Market Eminence:** Develop and promote thought leadership content that establishes IBM's distinctive point of view on Salesforce-enabled business transformation
* **Sales Enablement:** Build and execute enablement strategies that equip IBM sellers with the knowledge and tools to effectively position our Salesforce capabilities
* **Strategic Account Planning:** Collaborate with account teams to identify and pursue Salesforce opportunities within IBM's strategic accounts
This Job can be Performed from anywhere in the US.
* 10+ years of experience in business development, alliance management, or sales in the Salesforce ecosystem
* Proven track record of driving significant revenue growth and building successful client relationships
* Extensive knowledge of the Salesforce platform and partner ecosystem
* Strong understanding of industry-specific business challenges and how Salesforce solutions address them
* Demonstrated ability to navigate complex organizations and build consensus across multiple stakeholders
* Experience in developing and executing joint go-to-market strategies with technology partners
* Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
* Prior experience with IBM or similar global consulting/technology organizations
* Understanding of IBM's technology portfolio and how it complements Salesforce solutions
* Existing relationships with Salesforce executives and sales leadership
* Experience in creating or leveraging assets and accelerators to drive sales velocity
* Strong presentation and communication skills with C-suite executives
* Knowledge of multiple industries and their specific Salesforce implementation needs
* Track record of developing innovative business models and partnership approaches
