- Design and architect end-to-end banking applications across lending, payments, trading, settlements, compliance, and accounting domains.
- Develop solution architectures that ensure high performance, scalability, availability, and integration across enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate banking processes and regulatory needs into robust technical solutions.
- Oversee implementation, ensuring adherence to architectural standards, security controls, and operational requirements.
- Maintain alignment between application architecture and underlying infrastructure, ensuring seamless functional interfaces.
- Provide guidance to development teams, conduct design reviews, and ensure quality of delivered solutions.
- Evaluate new technologies, platforms, and tools to enhance banking application capabilities.
- Strong understanding of core banking processes (lending, payments, trading, settlements, compliance, accounting).
- Proven experience designing enterprise-grade applications and integration architectures.
- Expertise in multi-platform solution design (web, mobile, cloud, on-prem).
- Proficiency with enterprise integration patterns, APIs, microservices, and messaging systems.
- Solid knowledge of security, risk, and compliance standards relevant to the banking sector.
- Experience with performance engineering, non-functional requirements, and scalability planning.
- Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Experience with major core-banking systems and platforms (e.g., Temenos, Finacle, Oracle Banking, FIS).
- Hands-on knowledge of cloud technologies (AWS/Azure/GCP), containerization, and DevOps practices.
- Familiarity with data architecture, data governance, and real-time analytics in banking.
- Exposure to regulatory reporting frameworks and standards (Basel, AML/KYC, IFRS).
- Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman) or cloud architecture.
