In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
Primary Focus: Specialized expertise in the outbound logistics processes within the EWM system.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for outbound operations, ensuring that outbound warehouse processes are designed and configured effectively in EWM.
- Focus on processes such as order picking, packing, shipping, and transportation.
- Configure EWM to manage outbound processes like sales order picking, packing, shipment creation, and delivery management.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to outbound operations.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., sales, transportation) to ensure seamless order fulfillment and timely delivery.
- Deep knowledge of outbound warehouse operations and processes.
- Expertise in configuring SAP EWM for efficient outbound logistics.
- Strong communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- Problem-solving ability for issues related to order picking, packing, and delivery.
