We are looking for an experienced Cisco SD-WAN Network Engineer with a strong background in networking and hands-on experience with a large enterprise network. As an SD-WAN Network Engineer, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining our Cisco SD-WAN network infrastructure to ensure high availability, performance, and security.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Design, deploy, and maintain SDWAN networks according to industry best practice
- Collaborate with Architects and Sr. Network Engineers to provide effective solutions
- Configure and mange Cisco SDWAN routers via vManage based on company standards and standard operating procedures.
- Conduct research on networking issues and products as required
- Provide excellent customer service, troubleshooting, and technical support
- Minimum three years of experience implementing SDWAN networks following industry best practices.
- Highly skilled in consulting with customers
- Strong IP communication and routing knowledge is required (OSPF, BGP).
- Working technical knowledge of network and security protocols (IPSEC VPN, AAA, Dot1x, TustSec, NAT, QoS) is a plus.
- Knowledge of Palo Alto security products (Next Generation Firewalls, Panorama, Prisma) is recommended.
- Certifications in industry-leading network products: Cisco (CCNP, SD-WAN certification)
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills
- Highly self-motivated and directed, with keen attention to detail.
