AI and Data Privacy Focal Point Specialist is a crucial role within an organization.
In this role you are responsible for ensuring that data privacy and AI practices comply with relevant laws and regulations. You will act as a point of contact for data privacy and AI matters, providing guidance and support to employees and other stakeholders. You play a key role in developing and implementing privacy and AI regulatory policies, conducting risk assessments, and responding to data subject requests.
You are responsible for interfacing and working with multiple teams within public cloud's service/development framework, on security controls and overall compliance with IBM public cloud technical and operational measures.
- 2+ years of experience with a law firm or in house legal focusing on technology, data protection, or cybersecurity.
- Experience calibrating with cross-functional team and business leaders to develop comprehensive business-oriented solutions to problems and tailoring subject matter input to achieve business objectives.
- Knowledge of AI, large language models (LLMs) generative AI, emerging AI risk management frameworks, ethical principles, and US state and international regulatory regimes.
- Ability to translate technical advice into clear and direct business solutions.
- Ability to prioritize and complete tasks in faced paced environment.
- IAPP privacy or AI certification, such as CIPP, CIPT, CIPM, or AIGP
