In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
As an Architect in IBM Consulting, you'll serve as a leader in defining solutions for clients. You'll be the advocate for the client while guiding the technical team to implementation.
You'll collaborate with client stakeholders and internal partners to understand the business problem and requirements, constraints of the system and concerns of the various stakeholders to systematically transform detailed solutions (architectures) for the client.
Your primary responsibilities include:
•Strategic Solutions Design for S/4 HANA Implementation: Design and configure solutions for S/4 HANA implementations and migrations by using an agile framework.
•Knowledge Sharing and Best Practice Advocacy: Share technical inputs and best practices to the delivery team to conduct successful outcomes for our clients.
•Customer-Centric Implementation Enhancement: Communicate with customers to understand their needs and customize a plan to take their implementations to the next level.
- Minimum of 10+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA migrations, SAP sizing, application design, and configuration. Strong expertise in both Greenfield and Brownfield migration projects.
- Experience with SAP Landscape Management (LaMa), SAP Business Technology Platform (SAP BTP), implementing RISE-related policies and procedures, including BASIS coordination.
- Expertise in disaster recovery (DR) setup for SAP environments.’
- Certification from leading hyperscale platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
- Advanced experience in performance troubleshooting, RCA generation, and tools for SAP environments
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA architecture and cloud integration with strong track record in SAP S/4HANA upgrades and database management (SAP HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment
