The selected candidate is expected to work directly with the Integration teams as well as other teams including operations, process engineering, tool vendors, metrology, and various other teams that support the operations and research activities in our R&D facilities and our technology development programs.
The main duties in this role are:
- Owning lot disposition and cycle time for operations priority lots.
- Optimizing lot disposition SOPs with integration, process engineering and operations for improved quality and cycle time.
- Identifying and driving opportunities for operational and quality improvements
- Implementing new and updated business processes for better quality and communication across organization.
- Analyzing data to determine best conditions to optimize the process
- Overseeing and maintaining process controls and operational documentation
- Create IP and publish learning
- Condense and present analysis reports
We are seeking a candidate for an engineering position with IBM’s Semiconductor Research Division in Albany NY to work in the combined role of Customer Product lot owner and Quality Assurance engineer.
This engineer will be leading successful delivery of customer lots within a dynamic development environment. They will own baseline route stability and Lot dispositioning activities spanning both Front End of Line and Back End of Line Integration with a focus in Quality Assurance. The individual will lead teams for process improvement projects to increase business productivity and customer satisfaction. In this role, you will collaborate with other individuals and functional teams to standardize and automate business processes, training and facilitate 24 by 7 lot movement.
