This role encompasses various activities to ensure smooth, timely and accurate payroll operations, compliant with IBM regulations as well as local legal requirements. This involves working closely with IBM HR employees as well as members of other teams.
· Execution of payroll process – prepare input file for payroll vendor, make all validations and reconciliations. Includes final settlement management: offboarding, vacation calculation and inputs review, employee instructions, e-sign documentation preparation and submission, severance payment process (asset return management, approvals). Offboarding metrics focal point.
· Taxes: taxes and social security management (social security payment) and tax agency (payment and filing of form 111 and 190).
· New hires: social security registration (data to payroll vendor for registration) and employee portal registration (payroll vendor application).
· Fraternity medical processes: mutual insurance medical follow-ups.
· Audit: payroll audit (PwC) and EINF files and requirements.
· Back-up colleagues whenever needed (planned or unplanned absence)
