役割と責任

As an IBM zTools team member, you will use the latest tools and technologies available to deliver state-of-the-art software solutions for the zTools migration program. You will be responsible for ensuring that software components are expertly designed, tested, debugged, verified, and ready for integration into IBM's zTools software suite, helping organizations improve their business outcomes in the global marketplace.

This role executes the tasks required to develop or test the zTools  product portfolio to ensure it functions according to specifications and client requirements and meets the business needs. Development and testing activities cover all aspects of the product/system including function/component, system, performance and regression.

Successful candidates will have a strong desire to work through all phases of the software development lifecycle.  A foundational understanding of software development principles and testing methodologies such as the Agile Software Development Lifecycle, with a high degree of adaptability, drive, and willingness to accept new challenges is a must.

·        7 - 12 Years of experience in software development or software testing in a high level language using z/OS assembler or PL/X or C or C++

·        Solid understanding of Object oriented programming principal, preferably development and testing on z/OS environment.

·        Knowledge of Databases – Proficient in database concepts, preferably Hierarchical Database, RDBMS(Db2, Oracle) knowledge is also acceptable.

·        Knowledge of App Dev on z/OS is a significant advantage

·        Proven problem solving and analytical skills

·        Familiarity with Assembler, JCL, REXX, IMS DB, IMS TM, DB2 on z/OS is a significant plus.

•                     Software design and development techniques, assembler, (PL/X),
