You will be part of a highly motivated and skilled team working on components part of watsonx.ai platform.
As a DevOps engineer you will work on adopting DevOps tools and practices actively contributing to daily team activities and cooperating with different teams members across worldwide development organisation.
Key responsibilities of this role may include, but are not limited to:
- Serving as a technical team member in the development team, customer engagements, and contributing your knowledge and expertise towards the project’s success.
- Implementing containerized workflows using technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, Tekton, Ansible and other open-source solutions.
- Participating to the Cloud operations for our services.
- Diagnosing environmental issues and introduce/implement technologies to solve them.
- Staying up-to-date on the latest container platform releases and containerization techniques. Applicants should have prior experience with or be able to master the tools and techniques for building, deploying, operating, and supporting large scale hybrid cloud platforms, services, and applications, based on Kubernetes/Openshift and DevOps practices.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise :
- familiar with working with, developing and managing CI/CD pipelines with such technologies as Jenkins, Tekton, Git
- familiar with using & building containers and containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift
- familiar with Shell and Python scripting
- problem solving/troubleshooting abilities
- proficiency in English
- Linux administration skills, preferably in Debian and RHEL
- master degree in computer science or similar
- experience working with argocd
- understanding of Agile/scrum
