Our Marketing, Communications & Corporate Social Responsibility (MCC) team tells this story and is responsible for positioning IBM in the market. We define and optimize IBM’s brand, capture the market’s attention, and articulate our point of view for clients, partners, the media, and even other IBMers.
This role supports our IBM.com team, which is responsible for continually advancing our site experience to delight visitors, enable them to easily complete their objectives, and compel them to raise their hands and engage with the IBM team.
As a Globalization Intern, you’ll work collaboratively with our team to tackle strategic projects that address business challenges while gaining hands-on experience in the day-to-day activities of a globalization specialist. You’ll support key initiatives that ensure smooth operations and effective communication within our team.
In this role, you will:
- Monitor team dashboard alongside the Project Manager to track progress and performance.
- Analyze and compile key metrics to support team members in making data-driven decisions.
- Assist in the welcome process for new contractors, ensuring a seamless integration into the team.
- Maintain and update team documentation to improve workflow and knowledge sharing.
- Support leadership by consolidating core team information on a daily basis.

In addition to your core assignments, the internship includes educational, networking, and social activities. You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate across different areas within marketing, gaining valuable insights into the industry.
This is a Hybrid role, requiring in-office attendance up to three times per week. We will be concluding the recruitment process for this role in late April. Please submit your application before that time.
- Currently enrolled in a university program
- Passionate about Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
- Familiarity with CMS and Jira.
- Basic understanding of marketing, communications, social media, demand strategy, brand and content marketing, or field/account marketing.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Experience conducting market research.
- A strategic, consultative, and data-driven mindset.
