IBM Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is seeking a motivated individual with an interest in the field of security to assist with various tasks aimed at strengthening our security infrastructure, and overseeing the ongoing maintenance and support of CSR’s Software Download’s application. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to learning and professional development, coupled with the ability to handle smaller tasks independently. This role offers an excellent opportunity to grow into an architect role while contributing to key projects and operational responsibilities.
- Support security architecture by implementing small requirements to address existing gaps.
- Assist in onboarding applications to the Access Hub.
- Collect and organize information related to databases, applications, credentials, etc., to support strategic decision-making.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Manage Software Downloads site maintenance, ensuring issues resolutions.
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and timelines.
- Collaborate with development team to identify and address the application issues effectively.
- Prioritize and manage bugs, patches, and minor enhancements based on business and technical impact.
- Facilitate communication between stakeholders, to ensure alignment on goals.
- Ensure compliance with ITSS in all maintenance activities.
- Responsible for the IBM Integrated Governance Management System (IGMS) and the Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) for all Software Download application assessments.
- Strong self-management skills and the ability to independently complete assigned tasks.
- Effective communication and documentation skills.
- A strong foundation in at least one technical domain, such as infrastructure, networking, databases, or software development, with a willingness to explore and learn other areas.
- Demonstrated interest in pursuing a career in architecture.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com.
- ITSS Knowledge
- Excellent problem solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Relevant experience or education in technology, IT security, or related fields is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively and contribute to the success of the team.
- A passion for learning and growing into an architect role.
- Expertise in Agile project management methodology.
Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira and Monday.com.
