A career in IBM Consulting embraces long-term relationships and close collaboration with clients across the globe.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.

役割と責任

Will be responsible for driving application modernization and cloud migration initiatives from on-premise to AWS Cloud. The role will focus on defining application transformation strategies, designing migration blueprints, and guiding engineering teams through execution. The candidate will work closely with IBM program leadership and client stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of modernization initiatives (Lift & Shift, Replatforming, and Refactoring).

Cloud & Modernization

  • Strong experience in application migration to AWS (mandatory).
  • Expertise in modernization approaches – lift & shift, replatforming, refactoring.
  • Hands-on experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift/EKS).

Application Architecture

  • Deep knowledge of .NET application architecture (90% of apps are .NET).
  • Exposure to COTS application migration considerations (licensing, rehosting, SaaS adoption).
  • Experience with monolith to microservices transformation.

DevOps & Middleware

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, automation (Jenkins, GitLab, AWS CodePipeline).
  • Knowledge of middleware upgrades (IIS, WebLogic, SQL Server).
  • Understanding of integration patterns, API gateways, ESB, SFTP, etc.,..
