IBM CIC Baltic is a Client Innovation Center located in Vilnius with 300+ professionals working on client-facing or internal projects to deliver state-of-the-art software which solves all kinds of business problems in various industries. You would be joining Hybrid Cloud Transformation department which focuses on advising, building, moving, and managing multi cloud environments running on IBM Cloud, Azure, AWS or GCP.
In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Development. You will work on developing, implementing, and testingsoftware solutions under the guidance of senior engineers. This includeswriting code, debugging, and resolving software defects.
- Collaboration. You will collaborate with other team members, includingsoftware engineers, project managers, and quality assurance (QA)professionals. This may involve participating in meetings, providing updateson your progress, and working together to solve problems.
- Continuous learning. As an intern, you are expected to be open to learningnew concepts, techniques, and best practices in software engineering. Thisincludes staying up to date with industry trends and participating in trainingprograms or workshops.
- Web development experience with backend technologies, such as JAVA(Spring/Spring Boot/Quarkus) frameworks.
- Hands-on experience with version control tools, such as Git.
- Theoretical knowledge and practical skills using SQL and NoSQL databases.
- Theoretical knowledge of Agile methodology.
- Fluent in English.
- Hands-on experience with JavaScript Front-End frameworks (React orAngular).
- Familiar with Cloud technologies and Cloud-Native application development.
- Work experience in IT area is a big plus.
