Role Description:
The Salesforce Marketing Cloud Front End Developer specializes in designing and developing the user interface components within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform. They focus on creating visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces for email templates, landing pages, and other marketing assets. This role involves collaborating with stakeholders to understand design requirements and implementing them using HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment.
Your Role and Responsibilities:
• Designing and developing user interface solutions within the Salesforce Marketing Cloud platform.
• Responsible for email and landing page creation
• Customizing Marketing Cloud modules to meet business requirements.
• Integrating Marketing Cloud with other systems and data sources.
• Creating and maintaining email templates, journeys, and automations.
• Translate requirements and designs into functional user interfaces
• Implementing personalization and segmentation strategies for targeted marketing campaigns.
• Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues within Marketing Cloud implementations.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers, back-end developers, and client marketing teams to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
• Staying updated on the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features and best practices and implement them into development.
• Collaborate in code reviews, provide constructive feedback, and maintain code quality standards.
• Web Development, Design, or similar, or comparable experience
• Strong CSS, HTML, and JavaScript skills
• Experience with AMP script for email scripting and customization.
• Ability to create email templates, content blocks, and emails within Content Builder
• Ability to use Litmus, Email on Acid, and other tools to build emails that perform on popular email clients and devices
• Experience designing and developing user interfaces for email templates and landing pages.
• Familiarity with responsive design principles, user-centered design principles, usability and accessibility, and frameworks.
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices and standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to translate design mockups into functional UI components.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud or similar marketing automation platforms
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Administrator certification
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist
• Workflow tool experience (Jira, Workfront, Aprimo, etc.)
