Votre rôle et vos responsabilités

As an Application Developer at IBM, you'll work with clients to co-create solutions to major real-world challenges by using best practice technologies, tools, techniques, and products to translate system requirements into the design and development of customized systems. In your role, you may be responsible for: 

  • Working across the entire system architecture  to design, develop, and support high quality, scalable products and interfaces for our clients
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and define technical specifications for generative AI projects
  • Employing IBM's Design Thinking to create products that provide a great user experience along with high performance, security, quality, and stability 
  • Working with a variety of relational databases (SQL, Postgres, DB2, MongoDB), operating systems (Linux, Windows, iOS, Android), and modern UI frameworks (Backbone.js, AngularJS, React, Ember.js, Bootstrap, and JQuery)
  • Creating everything from mockups and UI components to algorithms and data structures as you deliver a viable product

* Strong understanding of SAP technology and products, including SAP ERP, SAP S/4HANA, and SAP Cloud Platform.
 * Experience with SAP solution design and implementation, including integration with other systems and technologies.
 * Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to craft adaptable, comprehensive suites for clients.
 * Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
 * Experience with project management and delivery excellence, including managing or executing specific project deliverables and scope.
 * Strong understanding of business transformation and ability to articulate proposed solutions in business terms.
 * Ability to stay up-to-date with the latest SAP technologies and best practices.

Expertise professionnelle et technique préférée

* SAP certification in application development, architecture, or a related field.
 * Experience with SAP solution architecture and design, including experience with SAP Solution Manager and SAP Solution Documentation.
 * Strong understanding of SAP Cloud Platform and SAP Cloud services, including SAP Cloud Platform integration and SAP Cloud Platform security.
 * Strong understanding of SAP data analytics and SAP data science.
 * Experience with SAP Fiori and SAP UI5.
 * Strong understanding of SAP workflow and SAP business process management.
 * Experience with agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.

The compensation range and benefits for this position are based on a full-time schedule for a full calendar year. The salary will vary depending on your job-related skills, experience and location. Pay increment and frequency of pay will be in accordance with employment classification and applicable laws. For part time roles, your compensation and benefits will be adjusted to reflect your hours. Benefits may be pro-rated for those who start working during the calendar year.
