The Procurement Transformation CoE team supports the procurement sourcing buyer squads in system administration, handsfree / buy channel configuration, including catalogs and complex RFx events. The CoE team is also being involved in new country deployments on Ariba/Buy@IBM and SAP Fieldglass.
The CoE team works closely with Product Owners to identify business needs and solution the procurement requests as needed in areas of function as well as technical support. The team is engaged in consulting with the buyer squads on implementing best practices, reducing workload, and optimizing the available procurement applications for business needs. The team interlocks with Procurement One Place (POP), CIO System Support Level 2, and the supplier enablement team to deliver seamlessly to the clients.
As an S2P Ariba/Buy@IBM Expert, you will be responsible for buy channel configuration in Buy@IBM, contract compliance (ACC), Ariba catalog management and PO-related error resolution. You will participate in the creation, management and error resolution related to punch out catalogs (global suppliers). You will oversee the configuration of support forms in Buy@IBM and create metrics/measurements for clients and for the team internally. Furthermore, you also have to make yourself familiar with the legacy buying tools (BOnD and GCF) of IBM and prepare for the further country deployments of Ariba/Buy@IBM.
As a team member, your primary goal during the very first weeks is to interlock with senior team members and set up learning goals / on-the-job training sessions. The team is allocating tasks in an Agile way: there are team tasks and team goals; this means that the team members align their availability to the business needs and peak periods (e.g., month-end closure, hypercare periods).
