Votre rôle et vos responsabilités

•     Responsible for setup, administration and maintenance of new data sources for use in development, test and customer support environments

•     Ensure data sources are kept up to date with the latest vendor updates

•     Monitor data sources usage patterns and troubleshoot issues

•     Ensure access controls to the data sources are implemented

•     Ensure version-controlled backup/restore processes are employed for DDL and data refreshes

•     Work alongside our team of developers and quality assurance engineers to understand requirements

•     Work with peers to implement best practices, introduce new tools, and improve processes

•     Stay up to date with new technology trends

• 1-5 years of experience in database administration

• Experience working with relational systems such as DB2, Informix, SQL Server, Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.

• Experience using database management tools and have working knowledge of SQL

• Understanding of continuous development environment (CICD) with tools such as: GitHub, Jira, Jenkins, etc.

• Organized, with a high level of attention to detail

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with ability to effectively articulate technical challenges and devise solutions

• Ability to work independently in a large matrix organization

Expertise professionnelle et technique préférée

•     Experience working with cloud-native data sources such as Snowflake, Databricks, Amazon Redshift, etc.

•     Experience working in a software development or QA environment

•     Experience working with OLAP data sources and OLAP data source management tools

•     Knowledge of version control systems like GitHub and Project Management tools like Jira

•     Exposure to the Business Intelligence domain would be an advantage
