The role will be to manage the UAE Federal Government for the specialist integration business unit (webMethods & StreamSets overlay)
As a Brand Sales Specialist, you will work closely with customers to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust, and show them how IBM's industry-leading solutions will solve their problems while delivering value to their business.
The products on which you will have the opportunity to help customers are webMethods and StreamSets, two market leaders in the context of application integration and data flow management between data sources and business systems.
webMethods is a software platform with ESB, API, B2B, MFT and Event management capabilities for integrating enterprise applications and different Cloud providers. It is particularly valued for its ability to work in Hybrid environment, from full onprem, to private cloud or in SaaS, through more than 450 connectors to all known systems and applications in the market.
StreamSets is a data pipeline management platform for collecting, transforming, and distributing data in real time. It is particularly useful for managing data from various sources and normalizing them into formats that can be used for analysis or other business processes. StreamSets is particularly valued for managing real-time data streams and integrates easily with big data systems such as Snowflake, Databricks, MongoDB, all Cloud providers as well as relational databases, NoSQL, and other data sources.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Client Management and Value Definition: effectively manage client relationships, define IBM's value proposition, and engage key decision makers.
Sales Process Management and Collaboration: oversee the entire sales process, managing a healthy business pipeline while forecasting and closing opportunities against a target quota in a pre-defined territory (Federal Government)
Manage all aspects of client business, providing exceptional client service, while maximizing profitability by identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell IBM’s Technology solution.
Focusing on expanding new business opportunities and collaborating closely with various IBM teams.
- Tech Sales Success: demonstrated success in technology sales, particularly in acquiring new customers and meeting and exceeding quota
- Territory knowledge: experience working and selling turkey solutions into the UAE public sector (Federal Government)
- Business Acumen and Communication Skills: possess strong business acumen and effective communication skills.
- Engaging, Compelling, and Influential Communication: ability to communicate in an engaging, compelling, and influential manner.
- At least 8 years of experience selling complex ICT solutions such as integration, B2B, and API solutions.
- Preferred sales experience with middleware technologies, cloud architecture, integration, APIs, and data/ETL platforms.
- Excellent customer research skills using multiple tools and methods to effectively search for customers across multiple accounts
- Ability to understand the business, needs, challenges and expectations of customers
- Conceptual knowledge of enterprise infrastructure technologies (APIs, SOA, B2B, iPaaS, microservices, ESB, SOAP/REST, Docker, Kubernetes, VMWare, Azure, GCP, AWS, ETL, Snowflake, AI)
