The IBM CIO Technology Platform Transformation team plays a crucial role in modernizing and optimizing IBM's technology infrastructure and platforms. The team aims to power AI-enabled experiences through AI-first technology platforms that enable and streamline existing processes, enhance security, and improve user experience by leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, machine learning, and cloud computing.
 Driving the adoption of emerging technologies to optimize and automate various business functions, keeping an AI-first approach with a Digital Experience.
 Enable Best in Class IT with Enhanced cybersecurity measures to protect sensitive information and maintain regulatory compliance.
 Modernizing legacy systems and integrating disparate applications to improve interoperability and reduce technical debt.
 Collaborating with other departments and teams to align technology efforts with broader corporate objectives.
 Providing guidance and expertise on technology trends, best practices, and standards.

Votre rôle et vos responsabilités


We are seeking a Full Stack Developer with a minimum of 4+ years of experience in the role. 

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Java and Java script/TypeScript with meaningful development experience in modern frontend and backend applications.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop applications using popular Java frameworks(Spring, Hibernate, struts, etc), and JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, Next JS, Vue.js, NestJS, TypeScript, or equivalent popular frameworks.
  2. Share ideas, issues, risks, and concerns with the development team and escalate to the Dev Manager as required.
  3. Estimate time taken for User Stories and Tasks in planning and attend daily scrum meetings.
  4. Hold demos with the team to shape the visual delivery of the product and demonstrate to business stakeholders.
  5. Use agreed tools/techniques for coding and storing code in a GIT library, and use agreed tools to manage User Stories and Tasks.
  6. Follow an agreed change process to deploy code continuously and follow change process for change requests to be added to the Backlog.
  7. Have experience deploying container-based cloud applications and CI/CD pipeline tools, including Docker and Kubernetes.
  8. Possess working knowledge of IBM Cloud or similar services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  9. Have experience with NoSQL DB (Cloudant or similar), DB2 and API integrations.

  3. Experience building restful APIs and Web services in Java/NodeJS or similar technologies.

  6. Experience in developing and deploying container-based cloud applications and CI/CD pipeline tools.
  7. Working knowledge of IBM Cloud or similar services (Azure, AWS, GCP).
  8. Experience with NoSQL DB (Cloudant or similar), DB2 and API integrations.
