As an IBM Storage Brand Technical Specialist, you'll work closely with clients to develop relationships, understand their needs, earn their trust and show them how IBM's industry leading solutions will solve their problems while delivering value to their business. You will be the Hybrid Cloud and AI Solution and subject matter expert responsible for driving the client technical agenda, account architecture, and technical sales support of IBM Storage Brand products in the Industry Market. Accountable for driving client satisfaction such that clients become promoters of the IBM platform. Maintain a strong customer base by offering knowledge and articulating the value proposition/ROI, competitive landscape, and relevant use cases to drive sales. Apply technical and sales knowledge to create and deliver technical proof points to assist with deal closure.

- Storage Strategy Creation: Creating client strategies for Hybrid Cloud and AI storage solutions.
- Enhanced Storage Solutions: Defining IBM storage options to improve existing technology.
- Complex Deal Closure: Building trust to successfully close complex deals.
- Opportunity Identification: Working within assigned territory to identify unique opportunities.
Experience aligning business goals with tech solutions with a focus on Hybrid Cloud & AI.
Experiential selling skills: ability to roll up your sleeves and help clients build proof of technologies or demos that definitively show a client's compelling reason to act.
Teaming is winning: Our solutions are focused on a clients' needs, but many times have linkage back to development or product management; a Storage Technical Specialist must have the skills to quarterback and lead deep technical discussions.
Experience selling Storage (File, Block & Object), Backup and Recovery Soltions and STaaS (Storage as a Service)
Technical experience with VMware, Red Hat Openshift and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
Extensive experience with Enterprise data center architecture, Red Hat Openshift, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, Ceph and VMware.
Experience and understanding of Networking and architecting enterprise backup and recovery solutions.
