As Azure Cloud Engineer you will be working as technical implementor either in a project team or directly with customers.
In order to succeed in this role, you must be able to explain technical content to people who might be less familiar with the technology.
In this role the person participates in different customer projects on new infrastructure builds, landing zones, migrations to audits, data and GenAI areas.

In this role, you'll work in one of our IBM Consulting Client Innovation Centers (Delivery Centers), where we deliver deep technical and industry expertise to a wide range of public and private sector clients around the world. Our delivery centers offer our clients locally based skills and technical expertise to drive innovation and adoption of new technology.
- Working with hybrid environments in an enterprise (infrastructure) context
- Implementing technical solutions according to given documented requirements
- Preparing low-level designs and implementations of technical solutions using cloud/DevOps best practices
- Writing and maintaining documentation of deliverables
- Keeping skills and relevant knowledge up-to-date based on market needs
- Sharing the knowledge amongst peers, community and partners
- Analyzing the existing environments and systems and recommending improvements
- Experience from Active Directory (Cloud and on-prem) or experience from designing, deploying and maintaining Azure Virtual Desktop environment (both will do as well)
- Experience with Windows Servers
- Professional experience from Azure Infra (IaaS and PaaS services)
- Hands-on experience with building Infrastructure-as-Code (such as Terraform or Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines, Azure Policy, Github actions.
- Professional experience from Network & VPN in hybrid and/or multi-cloud environments.
- Professional experience from Security in cloud and hybrid environments
- Professional experience from Migrations, Landing zones or both
