We partner with internal and Business Partners to continuously improve on providing IBMers with best-in-class tools for productivity and collaboration experience, driven by innovation, ease of use and agile methods. In this role, you will work closely with stakeholders, team members, squad and tribe leaders, in a multidisciplinary team to deliver a best-in-class tools for productivity for global IBM users.
A Data Scientist - Generative AI in the IBM CIO office is a specialist in Foundation Models , Machine Learning with Data Science techniques and in building AI systems. You’ll leverage the watsonx.ai platform for internal and business partner applications to co-create the value AI can bring to business. You will focus on Technology Patterns as our way to build the right skills and assets for repeatability to deliver productivity.
- Understanding of key concepts in the Foundation Models literature and expertise in building and deploying them for real-world examples.
- Experimental knowledge of watsonx.ai, wx.Assistant, Watson Discovery is required.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies, specifically Kubernetes, and expertise in leveraging them for large-scale AI workloads.
- Ability to identify fundamental problems from real-world cloud use-cases and to design, build and validate successful AI solutions.
- Capability to demonstrate and evaluate AI solutions via experimental methods, particularly through hands-on creation of prototypes.
- Foundational knowledge contracts management is valuable.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively within a local team.
- Excellent command of the English language, both verbal and written.
