You’ll work with analysts and architects to turn requirements into IBM App Connect, API Connect, and MQ integration designs, then build, configure, and deploy message flows, APIs, and messaging artifacts. You’ll implement data mappings and transformations, automate CI/CD pipelines for reliable delivery, and proactively monitor performance—troubleshooting issues to meet SLAs. You’ll also write and run tests, maintain clear technical documentation, ensure compliance with security and governance standards, and continuously seek ways to optimize our integration landscape.
Integration Experience: 4–5 years designing and building enterprise integrations with IBM App Connect (v11+), IBM API Connect, and IBM MQ.App Connect & MQ Skills: Hands‑on expertise creating App Connect message flows, API definitions, MQ queue managers, channels, clustering, and messaging patterns.API Design & Security: Solid track record designing, securing, publishing, and versioning RESTful/SOAP APIs using IBM API Connect in accordance with corporate governance.Data Mapping & Transformation: Proficient in XML/JSON/CSV mappings and transformations using ESQL, XSLT, JavaScript, or Java for custom logic.CI/CD & Automation: Experience authoring and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Git, Jenkins, UrbanCode, etc.) to automate build, test, and deployment of integration artifacts.Monitoring & Troubleshooting: Strong ability to instrument, monitor, and troubleshoot integrations to meet performance SLAs and minimize disruption.
Communication & Collaboration: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to work cross‑functionally and mentor junior team members.
Databases & Scripting: Familiarity with relational databases (DB2, Oracle, SQL Server) and scripting languages for data processing and automation.Agile Development: Comfortable working in Agile/Scrum teams and using tools like JIRA and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
