IBM is seeking a Product Manager to help drive the strategy and execution of our next-generation Content Services offerings, leveraging agentic AI to empower users to complete their work more quickly and easily than ever before. In this role, you will be the voice of the customer, identifying market opportunities and shaping the product roadmap to deliver innovative capabilities that delight our clients and drive business impact. The Content Services product management team is responsible for the platform that powers business-critical applications for organizations all around the world, across a variety of industries. These clients count on us to to help them centralize and manage their content - improving employee and customer experiences, securely accessing content where it's needed, meeting sophisticated compliance and regulatory requirements, all while providing modern, flexible deployment options.
Key Responsibilities
Customer-Centric Innovation: Identify customer needs and market opportunities through data analysis, direct customer interaction, and competitive research.
Strategic Vision: Provide strategic guidance to shape product vision and roadmap aligned with IBM’s business goals.
Roadmap Ownership: Craft a product roadmap that balances short-term wins with long-term innovation.
Technical Collaboration: Partner with engineering to evaluate technical tradeoffs and build sophisticated, scalable capabilities.
Cross-Functional Leadership: Collaborate with UX designers, engineers, marketing, and sales to deliver cohesive, high-impact product experiences.
Customer Advocacy: Lead customer presentations and product demonstrations with clarity and confidence.
Define Success Metrics: Define and track KPIs to measure product success and inform future iterations.
Go-to-Market Strategy: Work closely with marketing to craft compelling narratives that enhance product understanding and brand visibility.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize customer feedback and market data into actionable insights.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, Agile environment.
MBA or equivalent experience in business strategy, software engineering, or related product lifecycle management.
Demonstrated product management experience, preferably in enterprise software or building 0-1 products.
Experience with cloud-native technologies such as Kubernetes, identity providers, and vector databases.
