As a Marketing Content and Social Media Lead on the IBM Z Ecosystem Shared Services team, you will drive digital go-to-market activities with expertise in creating compelling externally focused content and social media messaging to drive active ecosystem audience engagement. You will analyze social media metrics to optimize content performance and collaborate with internal teams and the IBM Z external ecosystem (including influencers) to develop and execute content strategies while ensuring alignment with brand messaging. As a social strategist and influencer for the IBM Z and LinuxONE ecosystem, your role will support the scale of community and advocacy activities and outreach, event engagement outcomes, ISV solutions, Skills initiatives, launches, client success stories, and more.
Responsibilities:
- Understand the IBM Z and LinuxONE ecosystem landscape, create and manage external content for social media to optimize positioning of IBM Z and LinuxONE with ISVs and other Ecosystem personas.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive social media strategy to increase awareness and engagement
- Manage content creation and scheduling across platforms
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams to produce high-quality, compelling on-brand visuals and copy
- Provide social media coverage to drive outreach and global community engagement for key events and initiatives of IBM Z Ecosystem
- Engage with followers, respond to comments/messages, and manage online communities
- Track, analyze, and report on performance metrics using IBM approved tools
- Collaborate with IBM Marketing and Social team to highlight, amplify and scale key initiative
- At least 5 years of experience in developing and managing compelling digital and social media campaigns including content creation, strategy, analytics, and identifying the relevant social media channels and tracking metrics
