o Understand IBM’s digital strategy by gaining deep knowledge of its brand, objectives, offerings, and competitive landscape.
o Define and prioritize key pages for SEO optimization per language, aligned with marketing goals.
o Optimize webpages and on-page elements (titles, meta descriptions, H tags, image tags, content, CTAs etc.) in collaboration with local digital specialists.
o Create and refine localized content to improve engagement, clarity, and relevance across pages, blogs, and social content.
o Enhance UX and the digital journey by improving navigation, content flow, and SEO signals to boost CTR, time on page, and reduce bounce.
o Perform technical SEO checks including identifying and fixing errors, broken links, and cross-device/browser issues for usability and speed.
o Analyze competitors and keyword performance, identifying insights to inform ongoing optimization strategies.
o Monitor and report SEO impact using KPIs like traffic, keyword rankings, conversions, and search volume trends, utilizing SEO and reporting tools.
o Stay aligned with industry changes, SEO best practices, algorithm updates, and SEM strategy to maximize performance.

As a Global SEO Specialist you will be responsible for optimizing and growing the organic presence of our <insert language> footprint with our broader multinational website, with a particular focus on our ibm.com/think property. Working closely with global and regional marketing teams, you will implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, conduct keyword research, localize content, and ensure technical SEO best practices are met. Your insights will help align local performance with global SEO goals, driving qualified traffic and improving visibility in search engines.
- SEO optimization experience
- Understanding of performance marketing, online customer acquisition, conversion
- Experience with online analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, etc)
- Previous experience using web builder tools (Adobe manager, Wordpress, etc)
- Up to date with trends and SEO best practices as well as GEN AI tools
- Fluent or native English and French
