At IBM, Technical Solution Architects work to understand needs and then create complex high-quality solutions that make meaningful impact. The Chief Architect - IBM Cloud Complex Solutions is an expertise led technical leadership role responsible for architecting first-class IBM Cloud technical solutions on complex pre & post-sale opportunities including client critical situations and onboarding acceleration.
** Note ** This role requires working 3 days per week at the IBM Mulhuddart Campus location.
- Must have an architect level certification in at least one hyperscaler (IBM Cloud, AWS, Azure, GCP) and deep and broad expertise with hybrid cloud design & solutioning on any hyperscaler.
- Expert level hybrid cloud architectural design with broad and deep technical experience in at least 2 domains (for example VMWare, Kubernetes, Network, Security, Automation).
- Demonstrated expertise in hybrid cloud pre-sales interaction with customer architecture and technical teams.
- Demonstrated experience in last 5 years of personally leading the design and deployment of complex workloads on any hyperscaler.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading technical solution design including understanding Functional and Non-Functional requirements and delivery model for complex hybrid cloud deployments
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent
- Expertise in one or more of the following: VMWare, Red Hat OpenShift, Teraform, Cloud Networking, Cloud Security & Non functional requirements such as Backup, DR, etc
- Broad technical understanding of the IBM Technology portfolio
