We are looking to hire a Networking Support Engineer for our IBM Cloud support organization.
This role requires excellent technical skills in Cloud and Networking, an eagerness to constantly learn and evolve and a natural curiosity as well as outstanding customer communications skill.
In this challenging role, you’ll be responsible for handling customer cases using multiple debug and analysis tools, techniques, and procedures. You will work closely with our end users to troubleshoot and resolve issues surrounding their cloud-based networking products.
Please note that the position might require working on USA hours.
- Knowledge of OSI Model, Specifically Layers 1-4
- Understanding of Packet capturing, DDoS concepts and troubleshooting
- Knowledge of Network protocols: OSPF, RSVP/LDP, RSTP, BGP, TCP/IP, RIP, DNS, VLANs
- Hand on experience with Cisco, Juniper, Arista
- Fluency in English language
- CITRIX and VMWARE NSX Knowledge would be a strong plus
- Industry certifications related to network technologies such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA. JNCIS. JN
